With Generous support from:
The 2018 season was smashing and we thank everyone for making it a great success! Despite rain, humidity and crazy weather systems passing through just as 5:30 p.m. rolled around, we were able to produce great events in May, June, July and September.
The 2019 season began on Thursday, January 10th with a night celebrating the art of writing! Authors, editors, publishers, art vendors, young writers, teachers and friends joined together for a great night. Thank you to the Army-Navy Club, Pinewood Furniture, Harvest Beads, and EM Dougan Art and Framing for being engaged and opening your doors to us. Thanks to the Angry Egg, Filomena’s, Bistro on Main and Mulberry Street for using your culinary expertise to engage our patrons!
Every IMS will be a bit different with a variety of activities in different locations downtown, and some new and unique spaces as well. So, stay tuned, be sure to check this site or our Facebook page for the latest information and then come on down!! Write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved!

Imagine Main Street began its arts and cultural happenings in June of 2012. An ever-growing number of artists, artisans and musicians have participated in the events drawing hundreds of visitors to the Downtown area. The collaborative spirit and vision of these events has increased the vitality of the downtown and the cultural vibrancy of the area. These events have often been street wide festivals including art vendors, horse drawn carriages, music, zumba demonstrations, dance performances, street performers, ceramic demonstrations and sales, garden displays, poetry readings and magician performances , a pub crawl, wine tasting, restaurant specials . The collaborative efforts of the events have inspired many new projects.
Thank you also to those who support IMS by putting their greeting or business card on our event maps: Key Bank, ECHN, Sinclair Risk and Financial Management, Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Cruisin’ on Main committee, Town of Manchester, Primary Residential Mortgage and Frame Dimensions. And thanks to the Army-Navy Club, WORK_SPACE and Pinewood Furniture for allowing us to use your inside spaces for our rainy – and other – days! We are grateful for your faith and support! Please patronize their businesses.
